Review on Roundlab Dokdo Toner

Skin type: Dry. Climate : Hot and humid. Time of usage: 2.5 months

On my search of a hydrating toner I came across this and saw that it was highly praised in Asian subreddit as well as it has received quite number of achievements in being and hydrating toner. I got this and kept my fingers crossed.

Texture: It's has a very watery texture and doesn't feel tacky even after applying my other steps in this skin care routine which is basicly moisturizer and sunscreen for the morning. A definitely doesn't feel heavy on skin or slimy in any way. Absorbs quickly too.

My experience: I use this toner everyday in the morning. I layer it two times and I feel the hydration for hours. I did not see any major reactions to this product in my initial days and felt that this is quite good. It is definitely hydrating but not calming or soothing.

But there is a catch!!! How can something be all good???

If I apply this in the morning after I have used my glycolic acid from cosrx the previous night I see that my face doesn't like it and sometimes I get bumps on my skin that's why I avoid it. Even though my skin would really likes a hydrating or calming layer after exfoliation. I was literally heart broken because I almost thought that this toner was just the one for me but I am very sad to say that it isn't.

I would say go for red if you want a toner with simple hydrating ingredients that would last long .

Ingredient list: Purified Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Propanediol, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugarcane) Extract, Sea Water, 1,2-Hexanediol, Protease, Betaine, Panthenol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Allantoin, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA

I am on my search to get another toner and see if it works for me and will update you soon. Any opinions on Laneign Cream skin refiner or Purito unscented serum is highly appreciated. Reccomedations for calming and soothing toner would be awesome.
